The purpose of the Recruitment and selection manual is to support the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) Recruitment and selection directive, as well as provide guidance to CASA managers and employees to ensure our recruitment and selection processes are efficient and competitive whilst also adhering to the principles of natural justice and procedural fairness. Merit-based assessments seek to mitigate discrimination, bias or favouritism and recognise and use the diversity of the Australian community.
