This technical assessor handbook outlines factors an assessor must consider before making the decision to accept an operations manual.
It is for use by CASA delegates and authorised persons under:
- Civil Aviation Regulations 1988 (CAR)
- Civil Aviation Safety Regulations 1998 (CASR)
Assessors should use the handbook in conjunction with the Technical Assessor Worksheet. The worksheet facilitates the assessment process and criteria, and stands as an auditable record of the assessment process.
