The manual includes procedures for initial issue and variations to Part 66 licences, initial issue, variation and renewal of Airworthiness Authorities, and granting of aircraft type ratings.

Aircraft maintenance engineers maintain and service aircraft, their systems, and aircraft engines.

This manual is for:

  • CASA staff involved in Part 66 licensing and Airworthiness Authorities
  • Client Service Centre Officers
  • Airworthiness Inspectors and Airworthiness Engineers 
  • Industry applicants.

The AME Procedures Manual is currently undergoing a full review. Chapters 3, 5, and 6 of this manual will be consolidated and reissued as part of this review.
