Start using MAAT

You will need to complete the registration form to start using MAAT. 

Register for access to MAAT by using our enquiries form. 

Our team will email your organisations login details and provide options to learn about using MAAT such as online training, 1 on 1 personal session for you and/or your team, or by other means.

System requirements

The Manual Authoring and Assessment Tool (MAAT) is a web-based software tool used via your internet browser. There’s no need to download or install any software. 

MAAT supports the following web browsers for Windows and Apple devices:

  • Edge chromium
  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox.

MAAT may work on other browsers not listed above but are not officially supported at this time.

You will need Adobe Reader to view and save the printed manual. 

Security and privacy

CASA maintains a high level of security for all our systems to protect your information and to prevent unauthorised access. Only authorised CASA staff can access your manual.

Organisations

Your organisations MAAT administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining who can access your manuals and what level of access they have. MAAT has 3 user roles to choose: 

  • Administrator – has access to all features including setting up the manual appearance settings, creating, submitting, updating manuals, and managing user access
  • Principal Author – can create, update, and submit manuals and expositions
  • Author – can enter content.
