Part 33 of the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations (CASR) sets out the airworthiness standards for aircraft engines. Part 33 has been based on foreign legislation, specifically the Federal Aviation Regulations Part 33.

Who it affects

Part 33 of CASR affects people who:

  • design aircraft engines to be used in the Australian aviation community
  • design modifications and repairs for aircraft engines.
