Part 17 of CAR Penal provisions and prosecutions

Part 17 of the Civil Aviation Regulations 1988 (CAR):

  • contains miscellaneous offence provisions, such as an offence to do things without holding certain civil aviation authorisations
  • enables CASA to detain aircraft
  • includes administrative arrangements related to the issue, withdrawal and payment of aviation infringement notices.

Who it affects

Part 17 of CAR affects all aviation personnel.
