What can operators do?
Use your Safety Management System (SMS) to:
- find risks
- take steps to manage risks
- monitor trends
- consider aerodrome conditions before operations.
Put procedures in place to reduce risks to a safe level.
This may include working with the aerodrome or aircraft operator to address issues, such as checking apron conditions before line maintenance.
