We're making it easier for you to interact with us online using myCASA on behalf of your organisation.
Authorised representatives
An authorised representative is a person your organisation approves to work on its behalf in myCASA. Authorised representatives can help prepare and submit applications and notifications and pay any required fee estimates.
An organisation can have as many representatives as it needs to work on its behalf. All authorised representatives will need to be renewed every 12 months.
In myCASA, authorised representatives can:
- submit non-significant changes for the following parts:
- Part 42
- ReOC (Part 101 MOS)
- Part 119
- Part 131
- Part 137
- Part 138
- Part 141
- Part 142
- Part 145
- submit significant changes for Part 42 and Part 145 (with approval from the accountable manager)
- apply for a certificate re-issue
- notify us of fireworks or air displays
- transfer aircraft ownership.
The ability to make significant changes for more parts will be added to myCASA soon.
How to become an authorised representative
Manage all authorised representative access through your organisation's profile in myCASA. Organisations can review, renew or remove authorised representatives at any time. Authorised representatives can also review, renew or remove other authorised representatives within the organisation.
- Log in to myCASA and select your organisation profile.
- Select Manage users under the Authorised representatives heading.
- Review all authorised representatives and approve, renew or remove with a single click.
A person can request to become an authorised representative or a person already linked to the organisation can nominate them.
To request access:
- log in to myCASA
- select the 'Organisations and businesses' heading and search for your organisation
- Request to be linked. The organisation will need to approve your request.
To nominate an authorised representative:
- Log in to myCASA and choose your organisation profile
- Select 'Manage users' under the 'Authorised representatives' heading
- Enter the person's name, email address and aviation reference number
- Select the matching profile. The person will be sent an email to log in to myCASA to confirm.
Streamlining CASA communication
Authorised representatives can add their business email address to their organisation profile so CASA correspondence is sent to their work address rather than the personal email address linked with their individual myCASA account.
