Batteries with a watt- hour (Wh) rating exceeding 100Wh but not exceeding 160Wh, when carried by passengers or crew for personal use.It is recommended that items with batteries exceeding 100Wh are taken as carry-on baggage. If checked-in, devices must be be completely switched off (not in sleep or hibernation mode) and devices must be protected from damage and unintentional activation.Airline (Operator) approval is required for any batteries exceeding 100Wh.
Batteries must not exceed 2 g for lithium metal or 100 Wh for lithium ion. Carried by passengers or crew for personal use only. Should be carried in carry-on baggage. If a device is carried in checked baggage, measures must be taken to prevent unintentional activation and to protect it from damage. The device must be completely switched off (not in sleep or hibernation mode).
