The Air transportation operation: small helicopter sector is a subset of the broader air transport operations Helicopter sector focusing on:

• passenger operations (including non-scheduled and sightseeing)
• single engine rotary-wing aircraft
• MTOW less than 2,900 kg.

This sector safety risk profile (SSRP) excluded international flights, air medical, freight and mining. The team conducted the SSRP 14 March 2023.
