You can use an Australian issued flight crew licence to fly privately in foreign territory.
If you're going to work as a pilot overseas, there are some things your employer might ask for.
Letters to verify licence details
If your employer asks for a letter that verifies your licence details, we can send one.
The letter costs $50. It will include information we have about you, such as:
- your flight crew licence details, including endorsements, ratings and approvals
- your aviation reference number
- your aviation medical details
- details of suspensions, cancellations or any action we have taken.
You can submit your request for a letter to us through myCASA. To make it easier to interact with us securely, we are moving all our forms to myCASA and will gradually remove them from our website.
