We’ve published the summary of consultation and feedback on our proposal to repeal 18 uniquely Australian structural fatigue airworthiness directives (ADs).

We are currently considering the feedback received and will continue with work on the proposal to repeal 18 uniquely Australian structural fatigue ADs. As well we are considering how guidance and information can better support owners and operators in managing ageing aircraft more broadly.
Additional uniquely Australian ADs will be assessed through separate consultations, including Beechcraft wing bolt ADs and other fatigue ADs affecting smaller general aviation aircraft.
