Part 200 of the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations 1998 (CASR) provides an exemption for specified aircraft from the CASR. This exemption is subject to other conditions that you may need to meet.
The Part also sets out the offence for flying unregistered aircraft outside the terms of the exemption in Part 200.
Who it affects
Part 200 of the CASR affects the operators of a range of aircraft that are the subject of exemptions. This includes:
- sport and recreational aircraft
- certain military aircraft.
