Part 117 of the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations 1998 (CASR):

  • sets out the requirements and offences relating to industry participants making misrepresentations about holding certain civil aviation authorisations 
  • updates industry compliance provisions for safety-related surveys and questionnaires.

Who it affects

Part 117 of CASR affects anyone who conducts an activity where they do not hold the appropriate civil aviation authorisation.
