We're seeking feedback on our draft advisory circular (AC) on the safe planning and conduct of aerodrome works.
Date
The purpose of the AC is to provide guidance and information to support aerodrome operators and those involved with the planning and conduct of aerodrome works. Control of work activities ensures hazards and risks to the take-off, landing and ground manoeuvring of aircraft are appropriately managed.
This draft AC will be of interest to:
- aerodrome owners and operators
- aerodrome personnel involved in the planning and execution of aerodrome works
- appointed Works Safety Officers (WSOs)
- consultants engaged in planning and conducting aerodrome works
- aircraft operators
- Air Traffic Control (ATC)
- CASA inspectors and specialists.
