Sport and recreation aircraft focuses on:
- Class C and Class D airspace
- modernising sport and recreation standards and aligning with contemporary regulations
- Modernisation of Special Airworthiness Certification (MOSAIC).
Regulatory reform changes will include the implementation of the Part 103 MOS for Sport and Recreational aircraft.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is proposing rule changes for certifying light sport aircraft through Modernization of Special Airworthiness Certificates (MOSAIC), which will include new technologies. We will review these changes for the Australia environment, develop policies and work with stakeholders to implement them.
We're also finishing updates to the rules for air displays.
