Heat-producing articles such as underwater blowtorches, soldering irons and diving lamps

Conditions

The heat-producing component and the battery are to be packed separately and protected against short-circuit and accidental activation during transport. Flammable gas or flammable liquid powered soldering irons or blowtorches are not permitted unless they are new and have never contained a flammable gas/liquid or empty and completely cleaned of any residues. You must gain approval from your airline before flying.
