Project MS 11/40 - Advisory Circular AC 145-3(0) - Specialist Maintenance Qualifications
Project closed 7 February 2018.
The subject of this draft AC 145-03 (i.e. specialist maintenance qualifications) has been identified as one of the issues that will be discussed in detail under the scope of the Part 145 post implementation review project. Therefore, project MS 11/40 has been closed.
Current Civil Aviation Safety Regulations (CASR) Part 145 Manual of Standards (MOS) requires an Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO) to authorise and qualify the specialist maintenance employee in accordance with industry standards that are recognised by CASA.
AC 145-3(0) will provide the reader with information pertaining to employee qualifications - specifically specialist maintainers employed by a CASA Part 145 AMO.
