Project FS 14/25 - Post-implementation review of the Flight Crew Licensing regulations - Part 61
The Flight Crew Licensing regulations commenced on 1 September 2014. Since then, the regulations have been subject to post-implementation monitoring and procedural anomalies have been identified that require consideration and rectification. These include the requirement to provide exemptions for particular activities, including:
- Check Pilot Operator proficiency check exemption
- language proficiency exemption
- proficiency check for HofO aerial application exemption
- medical and CPL flight test exemption
- firefighting exemption.
Other legislative instruments may be prepared to amend certain aspects of the general regulations and standards.

This project was approved by Grant Mazowita, Acting EM Standards Division 2 December 2014.
