There have been some recent changes in how lithium batteries are to be packed and prepared for shipping.
The guidance document has been produced by the International Airline Transport Association and explains how to pack and send lithium batteries by air.
These must be sent with a freight forwarder providing an air cargo service (Yellow pages and other similar directories will provide local listings of "Air Cargo" and "Freight Forwarders").
Lithium Batteries cannot be sent by air with Australia Post.
