Executive and senior management committees

During 2002–03 there were four executive committees overseeing CASA's operations. These committees provided specific focuses for decision-making and brought cross-functional perspectives to formulating policy and management.

The committee structure was as follows:

  • Executive holds a monthly strategic planning meeting to take key decisions on CASA's future
  • Executive Safety Committee meets bi-monthly to assess operational safety matters and the adequacy of administrative and enforcement action taken
  • Executive Operations Committee meets monthly to review and determine operational policy, issues related to the Regulatory Reform Program and regulatory reform implementation
  • Executive People Management Committee meets monthly to set directions for, and oversee implementation of, the People Management Strategy.

The Senior Management Group meets weekly and we also schedule monthly meetings by teleconference to bring together all operational and corporate managers from across the country.
