Aviation Safety Advisory Panel - meeting outcomes and minutes
A summary of meeting outcomes and minutes are published after each Aviation Safety Advisory Panel meeting.
ASAP meeting, 23 March 2018
The Aviation Safety Advisory Panel (ASAP) met at the CASA Offices in Brisbane on 23 March 2018. During the meeting a number of technical working groups (TWGs) relating to regulation development were agreed to be established including the remaining flight operation regulations, aerodromes, aviation rescue and fire fighting services and remotely piloted aircraft systems. In addition, key policy areas were discussed arising from agenda items presented by the ASAP Chair, TAAAF and CASA. Read more in the meeting outcomes and minutes. ASAP meeting, 22 November 2017
The Aviation Safety Advisory Panel (ASAP) held its second meeting today, in Canberra. The panel endorsed a policy approach for a number of important aviation issues at the meeting including aviation medicals, radio frequency use in low level airspace, flying operations regulations, and maintenance engineer licensing reform. ASAP meeting, 4 September 2017
The Aviation Safety Advisory Panel (ASAP) held its inaugural meeting today, in Sydney. Professor Pat Murray, independent Chair of the ASAP joined Shane Carmody, CASA’s Chief Executive Officer and Director of Aviation Safety in welcoming the panel members, including representatives from industry and CASA.
