Applying for an AOC - How to apply for an Air Operator's Certificate
How to apply for an Air Operator’s Certificate
The forms and requirements to apply for an Air Operator’s Certificate may differ depending on the reason for the application
Instructions on how to apply for an initial issue
Subsequent issue (without changes)
All AOCs are issued for a specified term. Once this term has passed, the AOC ceases to have effect.
Should you wish to continue ongoing commercial aircraft operations, the onus is on you to apply for, and be issued with, a new AOC prior to the expiry of the existing AOC.
There is no obligation on CASA to remind an operator of the impending expiry of an AOC. However, it is CASA policy to do so whenever possible.
Certain changes to the AOC holder’s circumstances or the nature of the operation require a variation to the AOC.
