Airworthiness and manufacturing delegates

Airworthiness and manufacturing delegates

Delegates exercising powers related to airworthiness (not including design approval) and manufacturing are the responsibility of the CASA Operations Division for oversight purposes. Individual delegates are generally assigned to the CASA Operations Office best suited to maintain appropriate oversight of that delegate.

Delegate Management provides standardisation to the delegate community.

Interested in being an airworthiness delegate?

If you would like more information about becoming an airworthiness delegate, complete the registration of interest form.

Initial and renewal applications

For criteria relating to airworthiness powers that applicants are expected to meet before a delegation is issued, go to the  016r04.pdf (pdf 294.07 KB) section of the Industry Delegates Management Manual.

For information about criteria relating to manufacturing powers, contact Delegate Management.

To apply and renew, you need to complete .

Further information about the application process can be found in the guidance provided on .
