Understanding DAMP reporting
DAMP reporting information
DAMP organisations are no longer required to report information to CASA twice a year.
An exemption has been released in February 2015 that exempts DAMP organisations from providing information to CASA; however, records of this information must still be retained for 5 years and available at audit.
The exemption is subject to some conditions. These conditions can be found in exemption CASA EX143/17.
CASA has developed a Summary of Records (74.1KB) form to assist Industry to maintain a summary of these records, should CASA require the information. This form is not mandatory, but simply a tool an organisation can use to record information.
Under 99.100 (4) a DAMP organisation that has implemented a DAMP, must provide the name and contact details of the organisation’s current DAMP contact officer to CASA.
