Understanding DAMP reporting
DAMP reporting information
DAMP organisations are no longer required to report information to CASA twice a year in accordance with CASR 99.100.
An exemption was published in 2015 that exempted DAMP organisations from providing the six-monthly information to CASA; however, records of this information must still be retained for five (5) years and available at audit.
The exemption is subject to some conditions. These conditions can be found in the current exemption CASA EX135/20.
Under 99.100 (4) a DAMP organisation that has implemented a DAMP, must provide the name and contact details of the organisation’s current DAMP contact officer to CASA.
The DAMP Organisation Contact Form (Form 008) (415KB) can be completed and returned to CASA via:
