2017 Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems Annual Census
Welcome to the 2017 Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems Annual Census (RPASAC).
We have provided some important information for you to read before commencing the census.
RPASAC Commencement: 1 February 2017
RPASAC Closure: 28 February 2017
The aim of the census is to collect information about all ReOC and UOC holders' operational activity during 2016. This includes operators who were only registered for a short period during the year. If your organisation did not operate at all in 2016 you are still welcome to participate in the survey and provide feedback.
Please nominate a single person to be responsible for the submission and any contact with CASA regarding the questionnaire. This person should hold a senior management position, for example: Chief Executive Officer/Director, Chief Remote Pilot, Safety Manager or Chief Operating Officer.
CASA will use your responses to inform aviation safety initiatives. As such, your efforts in providing accurate responses are appreciated.
Completing the census
You will need a username and password to complete the census. You will receive these via email.
You can complete the census over multiple days as you can save your answers and exit the census at any time.
You must submit the census by midnight Tuesday 28 February 2017.
If you are unsure of any terms used within the census the remotely piloted aircraft system definitions and abbreviations are available.
