Issue

There are a number of minor and machinery amendments to the Civil Aviation Regulations 1988 (CAR 1988 ) and the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations 1998 (CASR 1998) that are necessary to facilitate regulatory administrative procedures and ongoing transition arrangements for Part 11 of CASR and the Maintenance Suite of Regulations (Parts 42, 66, 145 and 147). In particular, Part 11 of CASR in relation to experimental certificates and the transfer of an authorisation, the maintenance suite of regulations which require various amendments that have been found to be necessary since the regulations took effect on 27 June 2011, and Part 99 of CASR in relation to notices in respect of an initial drug and alcohol test.

Project objective

The objective of this project is to make the necessary amendments to CAR and CASR to facilitate regulatory administrative procedures and ongoing transition arrangements.
