Project approved.

Closure notes

Minor amendments to AC 66-6(0) which provides guidance information to industry for CASR Part 66 licensing and the recognition of equivalence occupations for the purposes of the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Act 1997 (TTMRA) can be found on the CASA website.

Issue

A minor error has been discovered in the Table at Appendix A for AC 66-6(0). New Zealand (NZ) Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Rules for Part 66 "Aircraft Maintenance Personnel Licensing" describes how all NZ B1 LAME equivalent rated persons have avionic Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) privileges.

When making a comparison in the Table at Appendix A of New Zealand AME licence ratings to Australian equivalent AME licence ratings, mention of "excluding avionic LRU" currently exists at various locations in the Table.

Project objective

The objective of this project is to correct this minor error via removal of all references to "excluding avionic LRU" in the Table.
