Drone registration and operator accreditation now required

Registration and operator accreditation for drones or remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) flown for business or as part of your job – no matter how much it weighs – are now required.

Registration is free and valid for 12 months. Operator accreditation is free and valid for 3 years.

Penalties apply for flying an unregistered RPA or without an operator accreditation for anything other than sport or recreation from 28 January 2021.

It’s not too late! Get accredited. Register your drone.
