Exams

Warning

The Civil Aviation Regulations 1988 provide, among other things, that CASA may treat an exam candidate as having failed an exam and ban them from re-sitting it for one year if they give another person:

  1. any exam questions or materials (or a copy of them)
  2. any information about the exam questions or materials; or remove any exam questions or materials from the examination room (including all calculations, writings, drawings or notes made on the scribble pad provided).

Accordingly, it is important you don’t do these things, including discussing the exam questions or materials with other persons after the exam.

This page will help you locate information about CASA pilot theory exams quickly and easily. If you haven’t done any exams using pilot examination office (PEXO), you should read the information listed under general requirements below. If you’re familiar with PEXO and know which exams you need, then you should be able to locate the information you need quickly under the licensing and rating exams.
