Is your aviation medical due soon?
It’s time to get ready for the introduction of the new Medical Records System (MRS).
From 21 March 2016, all aviation medicals will need to be completed online by pilots and air traffic controllers (ATCs).
Pilots and ATCs with a medical due from this date will receive an email notification from CASA advising you that your medical certificate will expire directing you to confirm personal details and update your medical history in the new Medical Records System (MRS.)

In response to feedback from pilots and air traffic controllers that online information about the aviation medical certification process could be improved, CASA has launched a new aviation medicine section on the CASA website.
These new web pages have been organised and rewritten to make it easier for all pilots, air traffic controllers and medical examiners to access the information that is relevant to you and your needs when working through what can sometimes be a complex medical certification process.
Information for different users is now clearly identified from the start. Navigation is easier and text simplified.
