Before you apply, your organisation must also hold a remotely piloted aircraft operator's certificate (ReOC).
Steps to become a certified training provider
Step 1: read our applications guide
Our comprehensive guide includes:
- how to apply to conduct training
- how to create student and instructor course and assessment material
- a detailed training syllabus
- sample resources
- applicant checklists.
Download our AC 101-01 v3.0 - Annex A (pdf 437 KB).
Step 2: apply for an interview
You'll need to attend an interview with a senior CASA inspector.
Depending on your location we can arrange a face-to-face, video or phone interview. We recommend you bring a list of any questions you may have to your interview.
Request an appointment by emailing email@example.com, making sure to include your location and contact details.
Step 3: develop your training materials
Develop your training materials to meet all requirements outlined in the application guide. For assistance please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Step 4: apply for a ReOC
You can start preparing your training materials while you're waiting for your ReOC. However, we can't process your application until your certificate has been issued.
Step 5: submit your documentation
Send your completed training materials, ReOC application and all supporting documentation to email@example.com.
Once your application is approved, your ReOC will list you as a certified training provider.
