We’re again offering 3 scholarships worth $5000 each to help up-and-coming engineers achieve their Part 66 aircraft maintenance engineers’ (AME) licence.
The scholarships are open to people who have worked for a minimum of 2 years in aviation and have started structured training towards a maintenance licence or who are doing on the job training.
Successful candidates will have made solid progress towards an aircraft maintenance licence. They will also demonstrate a high level of engineering aptitude and are committed to aviation safety.
The scholarship provides financial encouragement for people interested in a career in aviation maintenance and engineering.
This is important because high quality aircraft maintenance engineers are critical to a safe and vibrant aviation industry.
The scholarship will help meet costs associated with completing theory exams or relevant costs incurred during apprenticeships and other training.
