Data service providers
Data service providers include organisations or individuals who previously held a Civil Aviation Regulation (CAR) 233 (1)(h) approval, and were authorised to publish aeronautical data, information or charts that pilots could use as an alternative to the Integrated Aeronautical Information Package and aeronautical charts published by the AIS provider. Organisations that supply aeronautical data for use in navigation equipment or systems also require an approval to be a data service provider.
