Operator accreditation coming up for renewal

If you have an operator accreditation to fly a remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) for business or as part of your job – you accreditation may be up for renewal.

The first operator accreditation certificates were issued in September 2020. With accreditation valid for 3 years, the first round of renewals will be due in September 2023.

You'll be notified by email when your accreditation is up for renewal.

To renew

To renew your operator accreditation:

  1. Go to my.casa.gov.au
  2. Log in to your myCASA account
  3. Select RPA operator accreditation
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the quiz.

To keep flying, make sure you have renewed your operator accreditation by the due date.

While you’re in myCASA, update your details and download your accreditation to your mobile phone.
