Aviation safety advisors here to help

Our pilot safety campaign is helping to drive positive safety outcomes for individual pilots, and we’ve made more safety information available for engineers – but our aviation safety advisors (ASAs) are still here to help.

Pilot safety hub

Their primary focus is to deliver safety education and support to organisations and individuals. They do this by engaging with flying training schools, maintenance organisations, aerodromes, operators and other aviation businesses, as well as offering help to the general aviation community where needed.

We know our AvSafety seminars are popular – they give individual pilots and engineers a chance to interact with us, ask us questions, and talk about local issues. We’re continuing to plan seminars where local demand is high, where there are emerging local issues, or where we’re visiting a location to conduct a range of other activities.

If you can’t find one near you, don’t forget you can dial into any of our regular webinars. Just keep an eye on the CASA website for details, or follow us on Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn. Additionally, you can also access our expanded range of safety education materials around the clock. These include our pilot safety hub, and new monthly newsletters sent directly to pilots and engineers. And don’t forget Flight Safety Australia – our flagship aviation safety magazine – which brings you articles on everything from maintenance, runway safety and human factors to airspace, training, aviation medicine and beyond.

Aero clubs are welcome to contact us any time using our online form to request an AvSafety seminar or to apply for CASA sponsorships to host their own aviation safety programs.
