Account Set Up

Step 2 – Register your password

To complete your Registration, you need the temporary password we mailed you when you completed the Sign Up process.

If you completed the Sign Up some time ago and still have not received a confirmation letter, please contact the Self Service Portal team to notify us.

  • Click on the ‘Login’ button to open the Self Service Portal homepage
  • On the Self Service Portal Homepage click the ‘Register your Password’ text on the right of the screen.
  • Before you can commence the registration process you must first read and agree to the terms of usage.
  • Once you have accepted the terms of usage click ‘I Agree’ to continue.

Collecting your Personal Information

  • In the User ID field, enter your personal ARN
    The Password is the one provided in the confirmation letter mailed to you by CASA.
  • Once both fields are complete click on the Next button.

Note

If your ARN and name do not match, an error message will display.

If your registration is unsuccessful after three attempts, your account will be locked for 24 hours. If this occurs, please contact us.

Licence and Registration Details

If you have a licence or registration with CASA we will display a page that asks for details of your license or registration.

If not, then you will be taken directly to the New Password page.

Here we check the information we hold about your Licences/Aircraft/Aerodromes in our database. The questions depend on your license type. Click your type of license below to see examples.

  • Flight Crew Licence
  • Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
  • Aircraft Owner
  • Aerodrome Operator

Setting Your Password and Challenge Questions and Answers

For security reasons, and because sometimes clients forget their passwords, this page asks you to change your password from the temporary one we sent you and set you challenge responses.

  • The Password field wants a New Password, and asks you to type it in twice to ensure you have typed it accurately.
  • Your password must contain 3 of the following:
    • upper case
    • lower case
    • numeric
    • special characters ( e.g: & % _ #)

    Note: You can not use 3 consecutive numbers from your ARN within your password.

  • You then need to set your challenge questions and answers.
  • Do not use a challenge question that many people would know, or other where the question gives a strong hint to the answer. Equally, make sure that you will never forget the answer yourself, so a timeless question is best. Your answer is probably best typed in lowercase and with just a single word.

Once this is completed you are now ready to logon to the CASA Self Service Portal.
