CASA Aviation Safety Advisors
Our Aviation Safety Advisors work in close contact with those in the aviation industry to provide safety advice and deliver safety education and training.
Each Safety Advisor travels their geographic region, meeting with people either one on one or through organised events. They focus on smaller organisations but may also assist larger air transport operators through their various field offices.
We have 11 Safety Advisors currently on the road meeting those in the aviation industry.
Their role is to:
- Distribute the latest safety information publications
- Provide practical safety tips and advice
- Conduct safety seminars and workshops
- Consult with people in the industry who have problems and find effective solutions to them
- Feed information on emerging problems and issues back to CASA headquarters
- Identify the safety needs of the industry and develop information materials to meet these
