Multi-crew Pilot Licence (MPL)
Key changes (as proposed in July 2008)
- New pilot licence: A new flight crew licence called the Multi-crew Pilot Licence (MPL) would be incorporated into the 1988 Civil Aviation Regulations.

Civil Aviation Advisory Publication (CAAP): A new CAAP would be published which provides acceptable means of compliance with the regulations in areas such as content and conduct of training, content and conduct of MPL flight tests, requirements for training organisations conducting MPL training, and competency standards for the MPL.
