Broome Aeronautical Study
After extensive stakeholder consultation the OAR has completed an aeronautical study of the airspace around Broome aerodrome.
The OAR invites feedback on the content of the study and its recommendations. Feedback with a subject header of "Broome Aeronautical Study - Feedback" should be addressed to INFO_OAR@casa.gov.au no later than Friday 26th June 2009.

Maroochydore Airspace Review
An independent and objective aeronautical review of the airspace within 20 nautical miles of Maroochydore aerodrome has been conducted.

Williamtown Arrangements 2008/9 POS - Post event Review
(amended 20 February 2009)
The OAR conducted a post event review of the effectiveness of the CA/GRS and other risk mitigation strategies at Williamtown during the 2008/9 Period of Operational Standby (POS).
The review was amended on 17 February 2009 as follows:
"Defence provided a CA/GRS from 0600 to 2200 daily." replaced
"Defence provided a CA/GRS from 0600 to 2200 weekdays and 1000 to 1900 on weekends and public holidays."

Williamtown Review – October 2008
The CEO of CASA required the OAR to conduct a review of Williamtown and to report on the current airspace arrangements at Williamtown and the proposed arrangements for the Defence Period of Operational Standby for 2008/2009. The Williamtown review placed priority on the safety of passenger transport operations outside of the hours of Air Traffic Control provided by Defence.

Adelaide Airspace Review - October 2008
CASA’s Office of Airspace Regulation engaged Hyder Consulting Pty Ltd to conduct an independent review of the airspace within 50 nautical miles of Adelaide to ensure airspace arrangements remain safe and meet air traffic demand.
