Office of Airspace Regulation

Airspace Consultative Forum

The Airspace Consultative Forum (ACF) is the forum by which the OAR collaborates with representatives from the aviation industry in the development and application of regulation.

Members of relevant aviation agencies and airspace user organisations are invited to participate in the ACF's activities.  These participants are a vital conduit between their organisation, their organisation's members and the OAR.

The principal task of ACF members is to represent the views of their member organisations, providing consolidated input, as appropriate, to the OAR's application of airspace policy and regulations. However, all airspace users are invited to nominate agenda items for discussion at an ACF. Please contact the OAR to nominate an agenda item and to provide any background information that could assist the ACF in their deliberations. All emails will be acknowledged by the OAR and a follow-up email will be sent after the ACF that considers the nominated agenda item.

The ACF meets approximately six monthly (more often if necessary).

To increase the effectiveness of the bi-annual meetings, and to actively promote consultation generally, there is a dedicated ACF discussion forum within the CASA website through which ACF members can document their views on proposals prior to the formal meetings.

This forum is only accessible to ACF members who are issued a username and password.
