New consultation projects

Appointment of Head of Aircraft Airworthiness and Maintenance (HAAMC) - AOC entry control process

Purpose/Objectives

A recent amendment to CASA's AOC Manual has brought attention to the requirements for an HAAMC to be appointed by an operator as part of the AOC entry control process. Currently, there are no criteria/requirements or guidance as to an HAAMC's nomination, acceptance, appointment, responsibilities, qualification and experience.

Accordingly, this project sets out to amend CAO 82.0 to incorporate the requirements and criteria for the appointment of an HAAMC.
