The Sunshine Coast is hosting a special air safety summit next week.
The Civil Aviation Safety Authority is holding safety briefings in Caloundra for pilots, engineers and aviation businesses.
Aviation safety experts will present the latest knowledge on topics such as aircraft maintenance and pilot training.
The seminars are being run on Monday 27 May and Tuesday 28 May.
Pilots and aircraft engineers will be given the latest information on aircraft maintenance regulations to make sure they meet all current requirements.
This includes dealing with aircraft defects, carrying out scheduled maintenance and making aircraft repairs.
All flight instructors and pilots learning to be instructors are urged to attend a session on pilot training.
This will update flight instructor skills and pass on practical tips for teaching people how to fly.
