Positions vacant

Essential information for potential applicants

Your Application

Before deciding whether to apply for a position in CASA please study the job description and selection criteria. If, after reading these, you require more information, speak to the contact officer.

You should include in your application:

  • a completed copy of the CASA application cover sheet (RTF file which can be opened in most word processors);
  • a section stating your claims against the selection criteria for the position;

    (You must specifically address each criterion – this means that you need to write a brief paragraph on each explaining why you feel you meet the criterion giving examples of relevant work experience which required the particular skill or quality and which demonstrates that you actually have this skill or quality. By doing so you will maximise your chances of being short-listed for interview. Please note that selection panels may automatically reject applications which do not contain a section in which the criteria are systematically addressed – a resume on its own is not regarded as fulfilling this requirement. )

  • a resume of your work experience, qualifications, professional development courses completed.

You should lodge your application in accordance with details in the particular advertisement.

Unless otherwise stated in the advertisement, applications should be emailed to recruitment
