CASA Examination System
Photographic ID Acceptable to CASA
A candidate must provide a photographic Identification Document (ID) acceptable to CASA as proof of identity before he/she may be permitted to sit a CASA flight crew exam.
An acceptable ID shall be limited to one of the following documents:
- Flight Crew Licence Identification
- Aviation Security Identity Card (ASIC)
- Aviation Identification (AVID)
- A driver's licence from any Australian State road transport licensing authority that has not expired for more than 2 years from the date of exam sitting.
- A current ID of a serving member of the Australian government (State or Federal) public service or statutory body, which must carry either the official Australian Commonwealth or Australian State emblem.
- A current ID of a serving member of the Australian (State or Federal) police or Australian military.
- A current International passport.
- An Australian passport that has not expired for more than 2 years from the date of exam sitting.
- A 'Proof of Age' or 'Proof of Identity' ID issued by the Australian Federal or State Police, or an Australian State Government shop-front.
No other photo-ID will be accepted.
