Service standards and fees
CASA provides a wide range of regulatory services to the aviation industry. These include pilot and maintainers licences, pilot medicals, aircraft registration, certificates to air operators and maintenance organisations, approvals and instruments. CASA has established a set of standards for the delivery of these services to ensure they are provided efficiently and effectively to the aviation industry. Under Australian Government policy CASA is also required to recover the costs of providing more than 230 of these regulatory services.

CASA has Service Delivery Standards for its Operational groups. These standards set performance targets and CASA reports against these targets each month.

CASA's charges for regulatory services
CASA charges for a range of regulatory services and under Australian Government policy must charge fees reflecting the real cost of providing these services.
