The Human Factors and Safety Analysis Section provides a centralised unit of expertise on human factors, systems safety and human performance related topics. The Section provides:
- human factors support to the operational groups;
- standards and development support to the regulatory review; and
- education and training programs.
The safety analysis function supports CASA through analysis of safety data.
