Functions
CEO is responsible for the objectives, strategies and policies to be followed by CASA, and ensuring CASA performs its functions in a proper, efficient and effective manner.
The Deputy CEO Operations is responsible for the Air Transport and General Aviation groups.
The Deputy CEO Strategy and Support is responsible for the Personnel Licensing, Education and Training and Information Services groups, as well as Legal Services and the Planning and Governance office. His focus is on improving service delivery, as well as future planning and strategic development.
The Office of the CEO also includes a small support staff responsible for the following:
- Strategic advice to the CEO
- Safety research and analysis
- Service standards
