CASA Industry Complaints Commissioner - Online complaint form
It is important that you read these notes before continuing.
If your complaint concerns a CASA action then before coming to the Industry Complaints Commissioner you should try to resolve your problem with the CASA person who took the action or their immediate superior. Normally this will involve contacting your local field office; the CASA Service Centre; Airworthiness Engineering Branch or the Personnel Licensing, Education and Training Group. If you have not tried to resolve your problem with the appropriate area, then the Industry Complaints Commissioner may decide not to investigate your complaint.
If the nature of your complaint makes it inappropriate for you to approach the originator of the action or their superior, or your complaint does not concern an action taken by CASA then you may proceed directly to the Industry Complaints Commissioner.
You must be sure that in forwarding your complaint to CASA you are not delaying or forfeiting your right to seek a stay on a CASA decision or to take your complaint to an external agency such as the Administrative Appeals Tribunal.
You are strongly advised to seek legal advice if you are uncertain of your rights regarding external appeal.
