1929 DH60X Cirrus Moth

VH-SSC

This aircraft is one of two known to exist. Built in Finland in 1929 under licence from DeHavillands of UK. Hence the name it was christened: "Pilvetar" which translates as "Maiden of the clouds".

The engine is a Cirrus Hermes 105 horsepower. The aircraft was bought to Australia in 1976 and is being restored to airworthy condition. It is intended to register the aircraft as VH-SSC. It is based and hangared at Shepparton.
